MODULE 3: BUILDING KEY SKILLS
This Module aims to complete your training and prepare you to step up to the lighting desk, program a flawless show, and take a quantum leap in your career. Building on skills from Module 1 & 2, we establish a practiced methodology and test you under pressure. In this way you will be prepared for common occurrences on show site and meet any surprise with the best solution without delay(a key factor in this industry).

FINAL EXAM DETAILS:
Upon completion of Day 9 you will take your final exam as a live exercise. This exam will take place over 12hrs in the studio on a live lighting rig. Each student will have several opportunities to run simulated shows covering multiple event types as detailed here.
Grading will be point-based, and scores will determine your call priority on our partner call lists.
FINAL EXAM 1:
Corporate General Sessions & Galas

Simulated Galas
Each Student will have a 1 hour simulated general session & be graded on both programming and operation before moving on to EXAM 2.
FINAL EXAM 2:
Festival & Concert Busking
Simulated Festival Busking
Simulated Concert Venue Busking
Each student will have a 30min simulated Festival Stage show with rotating Artists every 5 min.
Final exam will then continue with a 30min simulated Concert Venue show
FINAL EXAM 3:
Social Events & Weddings
Simulated Wedding Reception
Simulated Bar-Mitzvah
Simulated Fashion Show
Each Student will have a 30min simulated wedding reception as the final section of the exam. Simulations of Bar/Bah-Mitzvah and/or Fashion Show can be arranged on a separate day but are not part of the required Final Exam.
